About ScribbleTod

ScribbleTod is a free collectible card battle game that you play in a web browser. It is built around a cast of hand-drawn characters, and everything else in it — the packs, the fights, the marketplace — is there so you can collect them.

Drawn by hand

Every character on every card is drawn by hand, and the cast keeps growing as new characters are drawn. They come in seven rarities, from a Grey Common you will pull in your first pack to a Rainbow Mythic that takes real collecting.

The rarest cards of all are Black Secrets, which come out of one pack and nowhere else. That is why this site never lists the cast: the Secrets are for finding, not for reading about.

What you do in it

How to play goes through all of it, and card rarities explains the colours and the numbers on a card.

Fair by design

Fights are always between two cards of the same colour, so a new player with a handful of Commons never meets somebody's best card. When nobody is about, the house steps in with a card carrying your own card's numbers. The dice are rolled by the game and not by your phone, so nobody can change a roll.

Every pack shows its odds before you buy it, and every card has its own serial number, so what you pull is yours and nobody else's.

Free, with no real money in it

There is nothing to buy with real money in ScribbleTod — no purchases, no packs for sale, no currency you can buy. The coins are won by playing and that is the only way they exist. There is no advertising on the site either.

Safe to hand to somebody else

Signing up takes a player name, an email address and a password — no age, no real name. There is no chat and no messaging between players, and an account can be deleted from its own account page at any time.

Plays anywhere

ScribbleTod runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, with nothing to download. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. The questions page says how.
